An illustration for Isobel

Although Isobel isn’t old enough to appreciate it yet, we hope that as she grows up, this illustration will remind her of all the things she loved as a baby.

Project background

I was asked by Isobel’s grandma to paint an illustrated name which could go in a fame on her nursery wall. I was provided with lots of photos and information on her interests and the things she likes, and some of the things her mum and dad like too!

A closer look..

I very nearly got to meet Isobel but on both occasions she was having a nap! However, it was really nice to see what the painting already means to her mum and her grandma.

I would love to do more paintings like this..
