Winter Lights - Bamburgh - Print
One year I saw the Grove in Bamburgh Village glowing with tiny white reindeer and white fairy lights strung across the trees. In the background, the castle was lit up in stunning pink, gold and green. I knew I wanted to paint it.
I used masking fluid to make the white lights, and tried lots of different shades of green until I was happy with the foreground. I used water to lift off some of the paint under the deer, to give the impression of pools of light. The castle and the houses painted themselves!
Printed on Epson archival paper, this fine art giclee print is signed and titled on the front, mounted in pale cream and includes a certificate of authenticity.
Available in a range of sizes, each one is signed by me, mounted and beautifully presented in a recyclable cellophane wrap.
