I love painting St. Mary's Lighthouse and I wanted this one to be full of colour and the fresh promise of a new day. I enjoyed playing around with reflections and different shades of pink - there's a bit of Turkish Delight in there I think!

Oystercatchers are among my favourite birds, with their striking black and white plumage and red and yellow beaks. They seem to fit really well with the black ink in my drawings. From an original ink and watercolour painting.

Printed on Epson archival paper, this fine art giclee print is signed and titled on the front, mounted in pale cream and includes a certificate of authenticity.
